Hi,
Just looking for some insight on mixing studs and backers. I made the mistake of buying woody's studs to go with Stud boy backers (plastic singles and doubles). Will this be a problem mixing them or should I be ok.
Also looking for a shock rebuilder in Ontario to rebuild my mono shock and my fox floats.
Thanks

Shocktec in Ontario did good work for me and my friends.
I used fastrac plastic backers on my Woody's Megabytes on my 06 Apex Gt.
All still there after 14,000 km.
The nuts work there way into the plastic after awhile. Many I can not torque anymore but they are still fine.
Went with machined aluminum on my 2011 Apex so I could torque to Woody's spec.

They all use the same concept, the backers act like a washer. If the bold on the stud matches the hole in the backer then it should work.

Just had mine rebuilt by Peak Velocity in Claremont, unbelievable pricing and great work.
