In Mich you can have an aluminum top constructed to fit for $800. More than one company making them for that price.
I'm moving to Detroit Lakes, MN in a week, where's a good place to buy a enclosed car hauler or 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer in MN?
Thanks,
Snowman

I don't know about Detroit Lakes. Bemidji Sports Center http://www.bemidjisportscentre.com/ in Bemidji has a pretty good reputation. I think they sell Triton enclosed trailers, probably also Floe and Sled Bed (both made here in Minnesota). I use Brother's Motorsports in Brainerd. They're an excellent dealership, but about an hour away from DL and you'd probably be better off finding a good dealer close to you.

Thanks for the info, an hour is nothing to drive for a Great dealer. But if the local guys are good, all the better! Thanks for the link.

You know how it is...you're just another guy off the street when you first walk into a dealership. At Brother's, I've bought enough snowmobiles/motorcycles/quads and a boatload of accessories and service over the last 15 years that they just smile when they see me come in, but the net result is that I really get great service.
I do know that they work closely with the Yamaha dealer in Bemidji and hold him in very high regard. I think highly enough of Chris and Steve at Brother's that if they think the guy's OK, then I do too.

This is a good product, and a lot cheaper
Thanks, but I already have one. Actually, the one I have is this one from Yamaha http://tinyurl.com/3rknc , which is even cheaper than the Slush Guard ($65)
It works OK, but doesn't exactly meet my needs.
If you want to save a few bucks , I have seen the little house things that farmers keep veal cows in , they kind of look the same as that . I dont know the size but I bet they are cheaper
Just a thought

The Sled Shield halves arrived by truck yesterday. Since they're going on a 4x10 aluminum utility trailer, the installation will be a little more complicated than for a typical snowmobile trailer. They look pretty cool and should meet my needs exactly- I can even get my Harley in there. Only problem is that now I'm going to have to re-figure out a hold-down or anchor system since the Sled Shield now prevents access to the anchoring points, which in my case are ratcheting straps secured in the corners of the trailer.
