Hey BH, I was thinking that maybe I could help you with some ideas for a custom build snowmobile cable show. Maybe a take off on" Extreme makeover home edition". We could find some fellow snowmobilers that are struggling financially . Guys that paid $10,000 for a new 2 stroke sled and they have to keep putting money in every time they grenade their engines. Also, the cost of renting a sled while their sled is in the shop so much really adds up. You could show up with a beautiful custom 6 place trailer loaded with a custom built apex or nytro. (move that trailer! move that tailer!)! Couldn't you see some 275 lb. Doo rider being reduced to tears when out rolls out one of your custom built Yamaha masterpieces. He would be overcome by the emotion of it all when he realizes he could actually go thousands of miles, season after season, with the same motor. Or maybe we could borrow a page from "Dog the BountyHunter" Call it Larry the BountyHunter. You could locate some of those hard headed 2 stroke guys that refuse to consider a Yamaha because they say they are too heavy even though they have never been on one. You show up with your team and you kick down their front door and grab the guy and drag him out to his favorite riding area and force to actually ride one of your custom built Yamahas. You could do some retro themes of some classic 2 stroke sleds from the past but yet still all on a new Yamaha Apex or Nytro platform. We would probably have to have 2 versions of the show , one American and one Canadian, because I don't think we could forcefully transport someone across the border. We could maybe do an "Overhaulin" theme. We could get in touch with the wife's of 2 stroke riders that have sleds in the shop.( there would be a ton of Doo Poo and Cat guys out there to choose from) We could tell them that while their sleds were in for their engine rebuilds that someone stole their sled. You could then take a new Yamaha 4 stroke and customize it to look like their old 2 stroke. I now that that would take a lot of time but don't forget these poor guys are used to waiting a long time between rides anyway. I'm telling you BH with your skills and my ideas we could make this show a huge hit . Merry Christmas!
