ski covers for trailer loading?

I've been using these for the last three years on my Triton enclosed trailer; so has a friend of mine, it works unbelievably great, not even a hint of catching a carbide.

There are several types of these out there for sale; these are the best.

Yours look like one solid piece that runs the entire width, am I seeing that correctly?

The ones I purchased were in a CDN sled mag, seen them at Royal so I purchased them.
I had no idea nor did I ever see other brands of these, like I said earlier, wish I had of thought things through first.

The one's I did purchase are 4 seperate ramps; from my pre-fit, I will have to cut some of my ski runner back in order to mount these and get my lid closed.
I have a feeling they will work but I was really hoping they would go to the ground and eliminate any chances of grabbing a carbide? But then again, judging by you pic, they might not need to?

Where did you buy the Rollerski from and how much?

Just went to my local Yamaha dealer and they had the information. It costed about $360. Here is the manufacturer's phone number 1-877-474-4272, they can tell you who is authorized to sell in Wisconsin or might sell direct.

It says on their website that the Rollerski's are only available in Canada??

I use the Skinz Ski Guards and have been very happy with them. They are a little pricy, but are beefy and hold up well. They are also extra wide so they fit mountain skis too. Make moving the sleds around in the trailer very easy. You can check them out on their website.

For more than 10 years, I've simply used plywood nailed to a two by four along with an additional wood shim. The plywood is the width of the front skis of one snowmobile with nearly 2 inches of overhang that I use to rest on the trailer. The plank is about 2 feet deep. The two by four with wood shim is the height from the ground to the top of the trailer bed when it is tilted. I store the plywood in the back of my truck/suv at all times when I trailer. Works great.
