Has anyone moved the clip position on their monoshock without removing the shock from the skid. Apparently it can be done if you compress the spring with a ratchet strap. Has anyone done it? If so how difficult?

I would not recommend even trying that with a ratchet strap. Its a good way to lose a finger or two. It such an easy fix to remove it yourself on the ground. Once you take it out bring it to your dealer to have them do it if you don't feel comfortable disassembling the shock. IF you do it your self then spend the money on a spring compressor (like 70 bucks i think) but then your back at the dealer because it will be cheaper to bring the shock assembly down and have them do it.

It can and was done with a spring compressor. See you local MATCO tool truck..
Much safer than ratchet straps but the ratchet straps will work

Sure will.
I have mine on the 3rd clip and I have the High rate spring.. I am 240 + gear and like to jump.

I run the 6.5 on the stock clip setting and re valve on mine with a 240 ish riding weight. 200 miles off pretty rough stuff and i had it bottom on me once or twice with it on full soft. Stiffened the rebound and it never did it again.
