I'm changing the Spring on the shock and I need to pull it from the skid. Where do I unhook the Cable adjuster to get the shock out of the skid?
Thanks in advance.

I would have to assume that the wire would disconnect under the front of the seat or near the gas tank, because if you look at the picture of the monoshock on the website it has a roll of wire attached to it, so it must not disconnect dirrectly from the shock!
Are you talking the stock mono or the GT ? I think it was on the RX-1 forum last year and you just unbolt it where the dial is slide it out and make sure the dial doesn't get turned any. you might be able to do a search on the RX-1 forum. ![Yrules :yam: :yam:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/yrules.gif)

I have mine apart right now, you can take the 3 allen head screws out of the tunnel and lay the whole assmy' in the susp. You can also pull back the rubber gasket on the shock and simply unscrew the cable. Turn the adjuster to full hard so you know where its at.
remove the cable at the shock
That sounds like a good idea-to remove the cable at the shock rather than removing the adjuster from the tunnel.

One thing I found is this. Before I pulled the cable from the shock I turned the shock to full soft ( or full hard ) this way when you go to put it back together the shock is timed the same. The cable is just a speedo cable system.
JTS, I also put the stiff spring in my Attak. Just jumping on it in the garage feels much better for my weight.
