Has anyone had troubles with the rear shock tunnel adjustment. Mine turns 2 clicks and wants to turn back by itself. Seems like a lot of friction on the adjustment.

I would bet the cable is broke.

I just installed a new cable but it doesn't seem to want to turn. Everything works freely until the cable is installed, then it seems to have a lot of friction.

When you had it apart did you make sure that the gear works inside the dial on the Tunnel and also check the shock valve to make sure that is also turning freely.

It is possible that the shock valve adjuster is out of sync with the dial on the RA dial adjuster, need to turn both to full hard before installing cable, just something to check. (as I recall full hard on the shock adjuster is full counter-clockwise using a small screwdriver in the square hole)

Everything turns freely when apart. The shock valve turns very easily. I've tried connected the cable to the shock and tried spinning the cable by hand and it's very difficult. I'll tear it apart tonight and try it all again. Thanks very much, we're finally getting some snow here!!

I was thinking the same thing. Make sure that the cable and adjuster are in sync with each other.

Does anyone know where I can find this part for my rear suspension. It fits into the valve before and then the cable for the RTA is connected. My local dealers says he can't get the part without ordering the entire shock.

That is part of the shock. Try contacting Bruce at Pioneer Performance. Check the banners at the bottom of the forum main page. Pioneer is a site sponsor.

Full hard is counter clockwise on adjuster and clockwise on the shock.
