I have the fat boy spring on the first sir-clip set to the hardest setting. I could use a little more dampening or what not for better rideability. Anyone have there mono shock revalved? If so any comments, sugestions, and vendors who perform this.

If you are using the big boy spring you really should have your shock revalved. With the higher spring rate of the big boy spring you need more rebound control in your shock to keep it from kicking back. Contact Bruce at Pioneer Performance, he can set you up.

There has been 7.987 million post for this subject in particular. Do a search for re-valve or something like that and you'll find all the post from previous others who have done it will be very helpful.

I have the fat #*$&@ spring and re-valve from pioneer. Definately rides stiffer and more betterer for the big bumps this way. You can actually jump the sled and not worry about a spine compression fracture when you land.

Thanks, I invite you to do this search (that I have previously done) and you will see why I created a new SPECIFIC post. I'm sure the answer may be out there, but buried amid countless other posts.

another vote for Pioneer....awesome job and fast turn around.

I had mine done by MCR in Flint, MI. I was a little timid having it done, but I needed it as the sled bottomed out way too much. I also have the big boy spring installed. The clip is in the second or third position I am not exactly sure.

My report: The revalve is incredible and without a doubt necessary! I can not believe the difference. I do not notice it being any stiffer. It is great, I can hit moguls now without cringing and worrying about blowing through the shock instantly, yet it still remains soft on top. I would have never waited so long if I would of known it was going to make such a difference. The sled feels so much lighter to me as I am not landing hard anymore, it is nice and soft.
