DO I HAVE TO USE A SPRING COMPRESOR ON THE OHLINS MONOSHOCK TO CHANGE OUT THE SPRING ON A 2008 APEX LTX GT???

You should have the ohlins ECS shock on that rig.

Just back the spring preload collar off, remove the spring seat and the spring. No need for any special tools.
