Talked to a buddy that lives there..and he says the snow is not as deep as it usually is..but thee is lots of snow..but he said that you must carry gas in some places..why..because there is no snow down from the mountains..so you cant just ride down..well you can ..but in the dirt or grass..I was there when it was like this..cool...the snow we were on was deep..and you could see the ground from the top...like being in B>C> ok close...Is anyone going..does anyone want to go...I am going when..most likly the last weekend in march ..or the first weekend in april..this is a pic from april 9 last year.my sled broke trail....been going every year at this tim

I told you guys it was going to snow. .they are going to get snow this weekend..and then there is another one comming next weds..so they say.its going to be great. .finally some powder.. .lol..they are suppose to get snow in Val-dor..it is still open there too..very few trails are open now..some spots here and there..in the mountainus areas..maybe it will start again from all the snow...lol...dout it...I shall post pics when i get back..I shall try and do a good job like Allain ..lol..I shall be going March 25-28..and if they get more snow..the first weekend in April..Jack

one of my friends just got back..he said that they have good snow. .about 4-5 feet in the mountains..and It is rainning here now. .but they are calling for up to 25 centemeters now. .and more in the mountains..if you want to know about the weather,,look on the french weathernetwork..My friend says that they were the best trails he has seen this year. .hopefully there will be deep enough powder so I can boondock with my huge son on the back..going to make a vide of it..got to go and put my snow tiers on again...lol..
Come on guys..anyone going to come..it would be the best all year..bring the kids and wife..they can go snow shoeing and skiing..the hill is right in front..too bad the high on friday looks like only -20 or -15..shall take a pic of that...lol..and there is still condos and houses and rooms for rent..Jack

well when we got there on thursday at 9 07 am..there was one and a half feet of powder. .my son and i rode off trail for 2 days. .we drove everywhere..and got stuck a bunch of times..the attak.but me too. .lol..the trails were amazzing..will put some pics up tonight..there was powder everywhere ..and some trails were bumpy on sat..lots of people cause of the drag raceing..that was cool. .most of it. . a littile too much drinking went on..ya there were cops but..only some guys got nailed for D U I..yes..seen it..thought my son was going to get it for no permit..but they just were checking for drinking and papers for trail and sled..that would have been expencive..been there once already with him...but the trails were great away from there..there will be snow till the next month.the groomer was all over the place.we passed him 4 times..i mean we found trails that had only 1-5 sleds drive on it.and some with none..got pics...even at the end of the day we found carpets..the guys were out in the day and night..too bad the boys there dont read our post about grooming.met a bunch of guys from ottawa and some from new york..we are all going the second weekend in april..everyone is welcome..so to sum it up..best rides all year and the best snow and you know when you go around a corner with a mountain and you slide out and then you are spinning up hills ..its cause there is ice,or tooooooo much snow on the trail..and this time the attak used more gas..my son said it would just not hook up...toooo much snow on the trail he said....will post a bunch tonight.......

going back up this weekend.. .it might rain..it might snow..i hope...but 2 friends just got back and they said it was great..a little too hot last friday..but they see no bare spots..except a few right at the parking lot in vallenoet..but 2-3 ks up the mountain and its heaven. .snow everywhere..got room for atleast one more..maybe two if you have a double trailer...going for 2 days..sat and sun..leave 3 am sat morn...leave sunday 4-5 pm..its not long...but its sledding.. .lol..

leaveing on saturday morn.or maybe fridaynight...the trails are finished..they are not grooming anymore..I have never seen this..usually its for sure till the end of the month.. have been there in may..ok once..lol..if anyone was thinking of going..its now..it looks like they will get snow..but will post pics when i return..
