sherlock29 said:So you you use the NOK ??? just looking and $1 can is 6 NOK?? is this right? how much for the XTX in norway?
That is correct.
1 NOK = 0.87 SEK. 1 Canadian dollar is about 6 Norwegian Kroner.
The XTX costs about 150-160000 NOK.

The 2013 FX Nytro TTX will be SEK 135.900. With the current exchange rate, this translates into USD 20.175 and CAD 19.978. This is probably not a very good price with your standard, but please keep in mind that most of the price is because of fukked up taxes and lower sales numbers in total.
As comparison, I seem to remember a 2012 FX Nytro XTX is SEK 129.900 which is USD 19.284 and CAD 19.096.

This could turn into a long discussion about salaries, taxes, free school, free health care and other differences, but to answer your question - a new XTX / TTX would be like 1/3 of the annual salary for a mechanic and 1/4 - 1/5 of the annual salary for an engineer.
My approach to the snowmobile prices is pretty similar to the way I look at the gasoline price - the price is still pretty low compared to the true value...! Like my friend Lumber Jack says - once the gasoline price hits $150 / gallon, then I will consider dropping the chainsaw...

The average Swedish salary 2010 was 327 600 sek per year before tax or 48 176 US... Sleds are expensive and not the common mans intrest..you buy them for the love of sleds or because you got money...

My 2011 Apex would cost about 28 000 $ brand new from dealer. This is Norway, the most expensive country in the world. Luckily we have Svalbard, the little taxfree-paradise close to the north pole, where the Apex is more like 19 000 $

As much as I love the weight saving of the Fox Floats, I think the Öhlins' are better shocks and would love to have a set on my XTX.
