More info on supercharger

X3

I know there are a lot of haters out there who will say don't waste your money, blah, blah, blah.... are any of our sleds "investments"?

I also have read posts on people who have installed them.

These are the people we want to hear from. The people who bought and installed Super/ Turbo Chargers and are running them on Phazers. I don't want to hear from the peanut gallery, fence-sitting haters with no real world experience.

Thanks

The only one I have seen came in on a tow rope with a broken rod that cut the engine in halve. I do love Phazers on boost FUN FUN FUN
Not a hater I was going to do it myself, but got persuaded not to by the guys that did sell both turbo's and blowers.
I Think it is our responsibility to let people know the truth about reliability once boosted I for one do not want some young kid to work there #*$&@ off all summer to get boost on there Phazer just to blow it up and not be able to sled the rest of the season. The repairs are very expensive so much so that there are two of them here that are getting parted out, one has the blower one the Turbo if you are interested I can hook you up.

cheers...........

i dont have a boosted phazer but most of the reliability issues come from the high compression ratio of the engine in n/a form. 12.5:1 is not real compatible with boost in any form and tuning it is a real problem even on low boost, talk to hurricane performance and see if you can get some pistons and rods then it would make the investment worth it in my opinion. without lowering the compression ratio boosting a phazer is just setting the sled up for failure

Does anyone have a good video of a phazer Supercharged? I have been looking on youtube for a long time know and I can't find one. If someone has one, could you post it up? I would love to see it. I have been interested in the supercharger for a long time and if I get some good info makes it even better.

Ive been looking for a place to mount the container for meth injection , im wondering if it would work with the phazers sc set-up . meth injection would be awesome , run 11 pounds of boost on 87 or 91 gas . And it will add alot of deto protection ,

Keep it full of racegas and you will have a blast for years.

Fallow the instructions for controller setup and kit and u will have a trouble free experience

I know I'd love to do a pump gas happy supercharger that was around 110hp, If someone would make some 10.5:1 pistons I think it would be totally possible with only 7psi boost and 91 octane. I would leave the intercooler out at that PSI also.

MPI can set u up with pullys to run 6-7lbs on pump, i have1 on running 12 on 50/50 race and it is a blast, i can always get the jump on my buddies 800xp's
