On my 2011 apex, I believe geared at 24/37, i'm looking for more low end and will be in the chain case this fall. What gearing will give more low end. Not really concerned too much about top speed as im not a lake racer.

I tried a 23t top gear which requires a 68link chain and it did the trick, however I have a 128" Rip 2, and don't run studs, so could not get the additional pull to the snow, it just spun way too much.
I did notice a fuel consumption penalty with a 23t, but then I do not ease into the flipper either.
Taller lug and/or studs it may hook up just fine.
Cheers

You can go to a 39 tooth bottom gear and keep your original chain. Not really worth the effort if you're not going to address traction in a pretty serious way.......just like the first gen Apex sleds.
