Can you guys give me your suggestions on motor oil, someone told me to use rotella t6 synthetic, but that is for diesel engine's. Is it ok to use?
It's good for low temperatures , flows for diesels . Only thing is they are low rpm engines compared to the Apex with or without turbo. Has all the important stuff too. You should not have a problem.
Why not run Yamalube ? I add extra Zinc to it .

Thank you for the reply, the only reason I asked about the rotella t6 is because I was told it was good to use, and I didnt know if there was some reason they recommend it being that its for diesel engines. And I have it on stock for equipment. Also was told to use delo400. Again just curious as to the reason these were recommended instead of yamalube. I want to use the best, I dont want to get cheap oil just to save a couple bucks and take a chance of shortening the life of my engine. I want to do it right no matter what the cost. I will go ahead and get yamalube. Thanks for the help, its much appreciated. It's good for low temperatures , flows for diesels . You may never see any problems with those 2 oils . Great oils !
Yamalube is engineered for the high rpm these engines produce , most vehicals do not run that high or run up in 6,7 8000rpm for a sustained time like our sleds.

Ok sounds good thank you for the help, this is actually the first 4stroke sled ive owned and im relatively new to the snowmobile scene. I am somewhat familiar with the engine because its basically the r1 engine. Ive riden bikes since high school, always had gixxers though and have always run motul synthetic racing oil.You may never see any problems with those 2 oils . Great oils !
