Since I just came in the house with a big ol' smile on my face I figured I better post up my thoughts on my Mountaintech 41+2 setup, needless to say I'm super impressed!

Here's my cliff notes:

Trail riding - after about 150 miles of trail riding this year so far with some suspension tweaks here and there I'm happy to report that my steering effort has been greatly reduced! I opted to remove the sway bar during my install and I'm very pleased with how it handles on trail, definitely better than in stock form. I'm an active rider (use body English) and feel the sled performs better the harder your ride it.

Off trail - this is where the biggest change is! I can actually get the sled over on its side while standing normally which I couldn't do at all before. Pulling it over on its side wrong foot forward is so much easier and the sled is balanced so much better. I probably just did 100 donuts out back it was so fun!

About the only bummer is that I know a new clutch setup is in my near future, the herky jerky higher rpm engagement makes the slow speed maneuvers more difficult. I may have blipped the throttle too hard a time or two

Thanks to Peter at Mountaintech and his awesome products! :yam:

What are you running for skiis. Have the 43+2 but I'm thinking about the 41+2. Really no bar and it's good on trails?

Curve skis, I'd have to double check but I think I'm running an 8" carbide.

I absoltuely think it handles way better now than it did stock, even without the sway bar. Some of that may be changes in the rear suspension, but I think the a arm setup allows all that to happen.

I will note that it corners much better if I slow down and throttle through the corners. If I grab the brakes hard and unload the rear suspension I feel like I have a tendancy to lift a ski.

I think the Evol R shocks help with the extra canister. It seems like I can run them a little softer and then have the resivoir to handle the big stuff. I don't doubt that a 43" setup with a sway bar would hold better lines on the trail, but I'm very happy with my crossover sled goal.
