How would it affect handling if I moved my front and rear suspension mounts back 7" on the tunnel to fit a 174" track and left everything else the same?

From what I see it should transfer more weight to the front, and decrease the approach angle for better flotation.

Any downside to this?

I am thinking next season I want to build a custom tunnel, thinking this might be the way to go. I'm going to need a turbo to spin the track though...

Well that's why I thought moving the skid back would be good, same amount of track on ground.

Although after thinking about it, there is a big problem, I would lose the parrallelogram shape, which would mean that I would lose a lot of track tension over the bumps...not good.
