MPH V.S. RPM/03 RX-1

I just got back from the u.p. I was running on a freshly groomed r.r. grade. At an 80 mph cruise i was spinning the motor at 8100 rpm. at 100 mph the motor was spinning at 9000 rpm (hammertime clutch set-up with a speed sheeve,down 2 teeth on the top gear. 15.5 mpg and i weigh 250# dont know what the flyweight grams are. Do these rpm's sound right ??

It's Hammer Time

Thank God you diddn't kill yourself. Were you wearing Kevlar? I'd rather ride a musk oxen on the finest groomed trails than ride a machine equipted with the exploding weights. They grap hard and man they made a 95' V-Max I had run like it was two minutes before blow time, but both my V-max and two other guys suffered the catpstophic "EXPLOSION OF THE HAMMER TIME WEIGHTS". Randy kindly replaced the old weights with a set that ge said we're billet. I'm selling them for $50 with the warning "ruin you weekend at your own risk!".
