I have a 2011 nytro xtx. I'm looking at getting the barker exhaust, but I was wondering if I need to purchase the fuel programmer as well? Will I lose power compared to stock if I don't have the fuel programmer? Will it hurt my motor if I don't have the fuel programmer?

I have a 09 nitro with barker slip on---no programmer-- runs great sound good--never rode it with stock pipe so I do not have a comparison--barker will answer your questions about their pipe

The purpose of a fuel programmer is to optimize the fuel curve, get ride of lean spots and rich spots. Generally you can get away with not having one for just a slip on.

Any decent slip on will grab 2-4 hp across the rpm range, that's what we saw with the Hindle slip on.
