Just about finished ,
On the stock air box , there is a sensor on the left side , half way up the box , and a wire plug , does that get changed over ? If so where does it go ?
Where is the best place to put the o2 / af ratio sensor ?
Is it ok to tee the boost gauge and blowoff valve (vortex ), off the left throttle body small rubber plug !
Also the hoses in and out of the blower oil tank seem to collapse a little on the bends no matter how I route them ! Not kinked but ????
Thanks for the help , Glen

If this is an apex they left the airbox sensor zip tied up to the harness under the intercooler, I just tied mine up next to the block. The 02 sensor if using the stock exhaust I mounted just infront of the muffler in the straight pipe section and came out the mag side of the sled and then up under the tank and up the side.
Yes Tee your boost gauge into the throttle bodies.

As Jamie said zip tie the air box sensor to the stock wire harness up under the intercooler by the motor & delta box. Jamie also gave a great spot for the A/F ratio sensor as well. I tee all the throttle bodies together and run them to the vortech bov and boost gauge instead of just using one throttle body, but that's personal preference. The oil hoses shouldn't have any kinks in them, they may collapse slightly from the bend, but make sure they aren't rubbing on any sharp points that may rupture them.
O2 sensor location (this is a Vector, but gives the general idea)

You can also drill a hole in the side of the intercooler tank and let it sense similar to factory it does work fine . reads air that engine uses instead of the air in the engine bay

That makes more sense to me , and what does it do ?
If yamaha thought engine bay air was ok they would have put it outside ???
thanks Glen

Yes you could drill a hole in the side of the intercooler and it would sense air in the same area that it does in the factory air box, but the intercooler air will be warmer than what the factory air box sees due to the compressor heat. I've never put it into the side of the intercooler on the MPI units, so I'm not sure if it would make a difference or not, but something to think about.

We have done our turbos that way for 2 seasons worked great I feel it helps calibrate the stock fuel system better . If intake temps get real hot either more efficient boost device needed or larger free flowing intercooler needed. I had a trip last season where we had to cross an open brook water splashed up on intercooler instantly froze to ice. The inter cooler stayed frozen for 3days while we travelled minus 25-35 were the temps

I'm currently completing my S/C installation and need to know what do you connect at the bottom of the S/C oil reservoir. Is that for oil temperature?

That was an oil temp sensor that previously plugged into the stock wiring harness and would make the oil light come on if the supercharger oil got too hot. To my knowledge that sensor no longer comes with the kit. If you have their gauge to monitor supercharger oil temp then you would install it and plug it in similar to as shown.
