Has anyone else experienced MPI altering your pully order because they didnt have the sizes you ordered? and not telling you untill you installed and found out, your boost is only 10lbs instead of the 13-14lbs you requested?? They told me they where sold out of the 24 tooth pully, and sent what they had in stock...a lower boost pully. if they would have contacted me i would have waited, especially with the cost of them. Just wondering, other then that i like there service..

Aren't your pulleys stamped with the tooth count in the side? Mine are? Maybe it was a shipping mistake. Just ordered two new pulleys to bump mine up to 10.5 lbs and they didn't say they had any stock issues.

no mistake, i called them and they admited they sent the next best pully!! said they were out of the 23 tooth size and wont have any for a month!! I didnt install them my dealer did. so i didnt see them till on sled. I mis spoke on what they sent they sent a 24 tooth and i wanted a 23 tooth. But I do love there product, and they have answered my questions and emails pretty quickly. just wished they would have talked to me first.

The pulleys from Grainger are a steel pulley though, and MPI uses an aluminum one. In a pinch, a normal 8mm HTD or GT2 type pulley from Granger or McMaster Carr will interchange, using the same taperlock hub. It'll just weigh 3 times as much!
