MPI with roll over valve question

I've been doing some reading because I know I want to install the ROV with tether on my new sled. I've seen threads on where it should be placed, etc but had some questions. Some people were complaining about oil STILL splashing out with the ROV installed. The oil line looks to go up and over the engine into the oil separator (not sure what this does) then had one hose going out the bottom of it back into the engine, and another hose coming out the top which travels to the front of the intake plenum and is plugged with spray foam. If the Viper is rolled, oil will go into the separator but it seems to me if you let it sit upright for a while all the oil should drain into the engine with some sitting in the hose possibly. If my suspicions are true, is an ROV even needed? Just a tether to kill the motor would be required as far as I can tell.
