I have recently instaled a mbrp trail can on my viper, has anyone found that it sits a bit close to the plastic screw plugs on the side of the engine. There is about 1/8" in between. I'm wondering if anyone else would be worried about this, I'm thinking maybe I should wrap it with heat wrap or something. Any input would be appreciated.

Ran the MBRP can for quite awhile on trail and ran the can most of the time on asphalt racing. No problems. 1 piece of heat tape will help if there are any concerns.
Should be a non issue. I haven't had any problems either.
