Thanks Turk.
I just hope these rollers I have work good.
They have a groove on one side and slight taper on the other side.
Why is that

Yes thats what they are.
I am putting 14.5 in the MTN Apex.
Gonna make it run like an Attak. Going to gear and clutch it like an Attak also will compemsate for the 7 tooth drivers.
It should be a pretty good trail runner and boon docker

Remember that the 7 tooth drivers are 3" pitch, so they are almost the same diameter as the 9 tooth 2.52" pitch....

I am going to run 24/38 gears in the MTN Apex.
Would that be too tall for trail riding?
What would that ratio come out to? Are you saying that those drivers are equal to 8 tooth drivers?

I had 22/40 in mine...was quite an ok allround gearing for me...
I might be mistaken, but I think they are almost equal to 9 tooths...(been a long time since I measured)

OBR,
Could you please figure out the ratio for me with that 24/38 and 24/40 gearing?
I may have to run a 24/40
I had no clue the pitch in those drivers were so close to 9 tooth. If they are, I might have to go with the 24/40 instead. I want to gear this thing as close to an Attak as I can get.
