If your not super handy, i'd just go with the Yamaha Kit. As Cubby said, easy to do. Otherwise they sell the R1 ones on ebay that you have to modify the bracket to work on the Phazer.Cubby said:The FX does include the wiring harness for the fan. There is a post in this section somewhere I saw last year on doing the fan install with the R1 fan off ebay. Pictures and everything.....

k a fan it is....
So i phoned yamaha to price out the fan....$160.....okay with that. She then said there is no fan for the phazer and I said I think its the same fan that fits on the mountain light.....is that right? She said she wasn't sure and couldnt guarantee that it would fit.....but it should be exactly the same. I dont want to have to order to find out it is not. Let me know and I'll probably order it this weekend....thanx again for all yer help boys....U guys are great!!!

Where does the fan plug into?
Hey so I went out to the sled to see if I could find that plug where the fan would plug into. Do you know approx where it is? Is it on the main harness going down to the battery? Theres some kind of plug down by where the fan would go but it doesn't look like any plug sort of. Is that it? If I have the plug for the fan then I'll buy the fan but of I have to do a wire job then who knows. You have been loads of help and I appreciate it.
