My 2011 Apex XTX +

The gauge pod does not shake when you are riding. When my sled was new the baro read really close to the one in the house now it never gets out of 28 range. Does not matter what time of year it is.
A coolent temp gauge and outside temp would be nice.

Ok thanks,, so some movement by hand is normal ?

Doesn't the ecu read the Baro sensor for mapping adjustments ?

Great photos. If that doesn't sell the Red color.......WOW!! When I rode the demos last spring I rode the red XTX first and I will say I really thought that thing was the best looking machine in their 2011 lineup. I originally was hot on the black SE but I kept looking back at that red and it is just awesome looking. Looks like you live in a nice scenic area too. I am jealous. A new Apex, a new Tundra and great landscape. Makes we want to pick up and move. Guess what always gets in the way? The wife!! LOL!!

Thanks ,, I fell in love with the deep red color the second I saw it. I usually go for black selds and vehicles but this was just too purrdy :)

I love my wife and my Tundra but the Supra's get all my attention. She just puts up with me as long as it's not taking food off the table.. lol

Yamaha engineered 2JZGTE with BEP S475 , 1000cc Bosch inj, AEM EMS , Meth, Greddy IM ,, etc etc . makes 726rwhp @ 26psi on 91 and meth :)

Interesting. I can kind of picture the rings expanding fully against the cylinder walls while under a heavy load, and with heat, keeping that way. I don't know, i'm not a great motor mechanic, i split the difference, pretty much warm it good and ride it like i always do, refraigning from long, hard pulls. My old engine builder use to tell me i could do whatever i wanted to it, just WARM IT UP! You also have a track, bearings, chain and other things effected during break in too.
Just looking at Frostys Ape, i don't think i could even ride it. I may just park it in the livingroom! I kid you not, that sled is beautiful!!! Mike.

Nice wheels too Frosty! Just curious, what part of Canada are you and what do you do for a living if I may ask.

thanks

You lookin to steal my sled , car , truck or wife . I'll tell ya if it's the last one :)

We own a Auto Parts wholesale business and I repair/restore imports on the side. I'm very lucky to have a wife that supports my obsessions LOL

Hey Frosty,
We,ve seen pictures of the sled and car, both beautiful. How about some of the other 2 ???
