When ya pull the handle back it just don't seem like it is adjusted right!!

I have shell advance 0w30 oil in my chain house. Reverse works great in all cold days.

No it's deff not cold only -8 and it seems like ya gave it a shot of gas to move a head a bit then it goes i'n alot better i think it may be the linkage needing adjustment!! Thanks

My '07 does that "gotta move it forward a little" about once every 4 or 5.
I think it has alot to do with having a little tension in the gears and needing to pop the throttle changes the meshing enough to allow pulling out the rev. cog.

I have a 07 Attak and have the same trouble with it poping out of reverse once in a while. Does some one know how to adjust the linkage?

Thanks

Its pretty simple to do.Been awhile but my brand new 06 attack did it.What you need to do is adjust it out so it moves it into reverse more. The linkage has knurled nut.Heres a pic i think i took of it lol

I had my reverse slot welded and remachined so the handle goes farther towards the tank without having to compromise the total forward engagement..works great..I found this by accident by holding the lever as far left as possible and noticed reverse worked great. When you release the lever in reverse, it actually moves the shift lever back towards forward a little. I had the slot moved so it stays pretty much as far 'left' as it can get.. Again, I was just concerned as adjusting the linkage takes from one to give to the other, and I want forward engaged as far as possible.
