My stack of aftermarket stuff for my sled just continues to get larger. My E brake arrived yesterday via Federal Express. I must say I was a little hesitant about how the fit and finish might be from looking at the magazine and add pictures. The product looks very nice. The handle itself looks like flat black powder coated aluminum but it's actually a very nicely constructed plastic handle. The strap that goes around your arm appears to made from a thin neoprene just under 3/16" thick so it could tear (instead of ripping your arm off) if indeed something happened and your pin didn't pull from the E brake.
The only thing I'm a little disapointed about is; the color of the strap is red. It's a nice red but it really doesnt match the blue motiff of my sled and gear  I have bugged them to either make the straps black (so it matches everything) or come out with green, yellow, blue, ect.
The best part was the deal they gave me. I don't think I'll have any trouble selling five of these to friends so he gave me 20% off of the $69 sale price. If you are capable of doing the same you could get a great deal too. If not, the sale is only going on to August 1st. After that the prices go back to retail ($99). This product might just save your sled. I've personally seen far too many instances where this product would have saved someone thousands. I guess that's why I had it SO high on my list. It's something you might want to consider. Powder Blue

The E-brake is awesome. You should have talked to me about pricing first though. Shame on you!

Spray, Why? Could you have gotten me an even better deal? How about on the rest of my stuff? I need some lightweight rear suspension mounts and maybe a lightweight exhaust like yours. Powder Blue

Here's a link to the E brake site. http://www.ebrake.net/main.asp

It basically is a spring actuated braking mechanism for your sled or ATV that has a teather attached to your wrist. . It applies the brakes in case you and your pride and joy part company. It took them a long time to get the spring rate right so it wouldn't slam on the brakes and flip the sled. Now the brakes come on gradually but the stop the sled quite quickly I understand.
