Any one know what gets done for your first service on your Phazer besides what the owner manual states?

Wondering if i should take it into my dealer or just do the service myself, 150 - 200 seems like a lot for an oil and filter change and some regular maintenance.

has anyone in Newfoundland had any luck getting the fan installed and the updates done under warranty this season?

i thought 200 was high to but the guy at the dealer said the first service is the most important not sure if it's true but what ever. id say you should try and do it yourself but the pars alone will be around 50$ and it will probly take awhile by yourself.

ya takes a good hour and a half to get this thing apart and get at the oil filter :drink:

ya but like i said in connors topic , they do oil , filter , timing chain , valves , track tension , check all the wires , and look over all the machine !

ya i had mine done at Atlantic Recreation and they told me the first one was the most important also ??? dunno if thats true but .. might as well let them do it the first time wouldnt want to mess anything up, engine wise !

Thanks Peter !

they changed the chain case oil in mine to and they fixed my reverse becuase sometimes it didn't work.

i got the same problem with the reverse, i had the same trouble with my warrior 350 too.. guys at atlantic said there was an adjustment they could do.

the reverse is really anoying, having to rock my sled back and forth to get it to engage

i forgot about the chain case lol . . . i had no idea they could adjust the reverse :o| mine does go in abit better now that is got the maintenance done . i wonder if they adjusted it

:4STroke:

Thanks Peter!

My first service cost me 150 bucks, as did the service I had done at the start of the year.

Peace of mind really, since if there should be a problem with the sled, the dealer has done the service.

Don't sound like a easy procedure from what I've read on this site.
