Sorry been a little slow.I'm getting married this weekend so haven't worked on it much.I have to mount the trail tank yet and Scott got me a skinze bumper. Also have to modify my thermostat yet.I have to get my butt in gear after this weekend.
Your sled looks sick by the way.

Modifying the thermostat? Whats that all about?
I remember doing that on my old DOO.. but never heard of it on the 4 strokes. Would you please explain?

That's interesting, can you do that to stock ones too or is this a boost only mod?

I would think a stock sled would run too cool.

Hmm, interesting.
I never had any cooling problems on my sled after i installed the ice scratchers, even with the turbo. I think I'll leave it like it is for now.
But nice to know.
Thanks Ryan, and a merry christmas to you.

Sorry didn't do it yet.I rebroke my leg the begging of January. Its going to be a summer project.I have to relocate my rear heat exhanger back to stock.Theprevious owner moved it.
I have a rear skinz bumper to install and the whole chasis will be powder coated over the summer.
Lots of projects for the summer. Will be setting up two asphalt sleds too.

Little update the previous owner ran 12lbs at sea level on not full race gas..I was losing oil into the antifreeze all year. What I thought was a little headgasket leak turnned in to a junk head 3 detonate pistons bad rod bearings.
Scmurs and Lsxm3 helped do the full rebuild and i got a used head from rclofm and HYFLR.
I can't thank them enough.
Here's a little vid of it up and running.
