My Phazer FX Snocross Plastic

Did you revalve the shocks? Also, how are you able to run with the sway bar??? I tried doing a small 20 foot double and anything off camber the sway bar makes it tough to land...will literally toss you if you don't hang on realllll tight! I'm removing the sway bar (great for flat cornering on trails but not for snow-x) and going to increase compression dampening and spring preload on front shocks. As for the rear suspension, the stock setting is way to soft for me (170lbs) as I bottom it out on small jumps, so I'm first going to try the "Stiff" position on the cams then I'll monkey with the rear shock compression settings. I'm also going to switch the track out for a taller lug, new exhaust (lighter) and cold air intake mod for some more hp. As far as I'm concerned, if the promoter will let you run with the 440's then gitr' done! I'm sure any race organization would luv to see some yammies out there dicing with the competition...especially when we're down on hp compared to the current 440's. If you can be competitive on the Yammie it will only speak volumes about the Phazers potential and you'll look like a HERO! :4STroke:

I'll post pics and let you know how it goes when I get out to test with the guys next week.

Too bad about the low turnout..maybe we will see more at Owen Sound.
Try running with a 0.75 track on the old Phazer - that was slow on the hills. Good luck.

If you are going to cheat...you maybe should not broadcast it!

Phazer Race

Hey, I just bought a new FX to Race in the MSXRA. So come on over and have some fun. From what Brent has told me..and as the rules state you cannot change the ski's or track. You can clutch it, change gearing, handlebars, and ski runners(shaper bars) I am hopeing they change the ski rule, cause I cannot find a ski-loop that meets the snocross rules.
I see you changed the front springs. Did you go stiffer? Do you know what the stock rate is? And what do you have now?

Sweet man..ya im planning on doing a few...BUT im not sure if i want to do the phazer class, or run the 500 class....Im undecided. I want to call the msxra and ask them about track/ski changes..etc. As far as my shocks go they are just off the navy blue fx...totally stock suspension still..i only have 45km's on it..so NOTHING has been touched with the exception of cosmetics....keep in touch bc if there are enuf phazers that is the class i will run..if not im going to race a normal class....Pumped there is at least one more guy out there to dice with..haha!
