I have my 06 RTX set up just the way I like It right now, but I am still wondering if any body has had there sled set up so that the skis get into the air when taking off. I believe my limiter strap has two holes left in it to make it longer, and sometimes I set the transfer rod to full max just for the fun of it. But with the transfer to full and two holes left in the limiter straps the skis might get off the ground an inch for a second or two, but they defiantly are not getting a foot of the ground like I have seen some pictures of on this website. I am just wondering if loosing the limiter strap makes that big of a difference in doing wheelies.

I weigh around 225 with gear on, my transfer is set at 1 notch past half-way on the supplied guage, clip in 2nd position and adjuster is set to 3 clicks down from full, and I have no studs. I can get that thing to lift the quite high hardpacked snow. It lifted so high a few times on me last year that I had to let off, it was starting to twist like it was going to come down on it's side.

Given your set-up and the different things you have said youv'e tried, I am going to suggest you check your belt deflection/condition. You may not be starting out in 1st gear!
