One of the guys just got a new 06. I would like to help him set it up, for hard trail ridding. We will have to do this thusday night up at the cabin. We won't have a lot of time. All the guys that dont have YAMAHAs will be watching this APEX very closely.
The APEX has no studs yet. His weight is about 220 lbs. We will have some extra wheels with us, and he knows about the hand warmers. I do know he likes a lot of weight transfer like my 05 has. I have my front strap up one hole, my shock on hard and the transfer about 3/4 to max. I have 96 studs. Do you think this would be close for his sled too?
Thanks for any help you can give us... Gary.

Yes, that is a good setup, but just adjust the clip position on the rear shock to the second poistion to make the spring act stiffer. Then go out and tear it up.
