I'm wondering if I should bother to install it?
I got rid of the air box and went with pods w/ outerwears and I have my custom exhaust, won;t the efi take care of it?

Fuel Box
Check their website by doing a search for Hauck Powersports on google. They will definately send you a copy in the mail or email it to you.
It makes the throttle very responsive especially when paired to intake. I have many Hauck mods on my apex and it will do 118 to 120 on GPS.
07 RTX
Fuel box, ram air, advanced timing, full exhaust, overdrive, gearing.

FYI: may take sometime to dial in but once you do it should clean up the throttle response even it you don't have any other mods. Good luck!

This page can be found on Hauck's website under Installation instructions. Click on snowmobile then look for Fuel Accelerator.
Hauck Fuel AcceleratorApex/ Attak Read all instructions BEFORE installation. 1) Remove Hood, LH Side Panel. 2) Locate the large gray plug that runs along the frame rail on the LH side. Plug the Fuel Accelerator inline. 3) IMPORTANT: Remove one of the 6mm bolts that holds the headlight assembly onto the main frame. You must ground the black wire from the accelerator to that frame bolt. 4) Zip-tie any loose wires so they are not in harms way. 5) Reinstall the pieces from step one. 6) Use the Velcro to mount the Accelerator control box. (Example. On the Handlebar Pad, or on the headlight bracket by the rear clutch. If you mount it on the headlight bracket be sure to mount it so you can get at it without having to remove the side panel.) 7) Double-check all your work. 8) Start the snowmobile. After a couple of seconds you will see all 8 green LED’s scroll across for several seconds. DO NOT REV THE ENGINE WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE SCROLLING.
Operation and Tuning
With the sled idling you should see #1 Green LED light on. To adjust the colors just push the mode button real fast. The color will cycle from Green to Yellow, Red, Yellow/Blue, and Red Blue. Once you get the color that you want you can move the light, the farther to the right you go the more fuel you are adding to that color. Programming the LED’s If the 2 nd light is on then you are in setting 2. If 2 lights are on then you are 1⁄2 way. Example: 2 nd and 3 rd lights equals setting 2 1⁄2. 4 th and 5 th lights equal setting 4 1⁄2. To adjust the next color just tap the mode button, using the + or – sign to get your desired setting. Mode 1- GREEN – Idle/Cruise Mixture level. Mode 2- YELLOW – Needle Enrichment Mode 3- RED – Main Jet Mode 4- Yellow/Blue – Switch Point form Green light to Red light Mode 5- Red/Blue – Switch Point from Yellow light to Red light Radical changes to the accelerator settings can cause the sled too run rich. You can always go back to stock when all the colors are on the #1 setting. You mainly use the first three colors.
