Need help fast!

check the grounding block and get the battery load tested. Any time you have a weird electrical problem thats the first place to start.

Handwarmers will not cause the sled to shut off or not start.

Cant see it being the battery. Will check the wires more carefully hopefully tomorrow. I should have mentioned when I turn the key to the middle position will say I can adjust the thumb warmer setting but cant adjust the hand warmer settings. If the code 81 is about the warmers would this be a sign its causing the problem?

When you turn the key from off to on (but not yet to start) do you hear the buzz/rattle of the fuel pump?

Listen for this after it has been sitting (turned off) for a bit to allow the fuel pressure to bleed off.

If no fuel pump noise it is probably the fuel pump relay is frozen, pull it out stick it in your pocket or put a hair dryer on it to thaw it out.

When I turn the key to the "on" position it doesn't make the normal buzz noise. It makes a faint tick sound. Where is the relay located to not familiar with these let alone where relays are located on them. Thank you ill try it tomorrow if thats not the problem I will probably take it to my local dealer.

Right side under the battery. Download a manual from the frequently asked thread to find which one it is. Match up the wire colours from the wiring diagram to make sure you have the right one.

I brought it to my Yamaha dealer after and got it done for $125 bucks one less worry! BUT a very big but! They told me my rear shock is shot and cant be re built! Which I assumed it was gone he told me a replacement is $850! Where can I buy a replacement for a lot less? I would like to upgrade to a fox if its any cheaper then 850 I did see some that where less but I'm not sure what shock is better and the correct size if someone could help me id really appreciate it!

So what did they do? You didn't have this problem from a bum shock.

Not totally sure yet will ask them when I pick it up! But I mentioned that the shock may be bad and it is so I need a cheaper replacement. The conversation on the phone was more around prices for a new shock.

If your shock is blown call ShockTec. Mine rebuilt there and they had shocks for sale also.

Schmidt bros sells the cheaper fox shocks for less than half of $850 also

I would pay the extra few bucks and have them valve them for your weight/riding style. Made a HUGE difference on my stock shocks.

call them and talk to Chris, he really seems to know phazers

what led you to finding the blown shock?

I planned on getting it set up for the few extra bucks thanks! And since I bought the sled it seemed extremely soft and when loading it up on my ramps and reversing it would bottom out and stick. I seen on another topic that someone had this issue and it led to it being blown. The guy at my dealer said it was severe leakage. Here is a picture of what I mean by it bottoming out and sticking.
