I have a nytro xtx 2010 with a 15 X 144 x 1 1/4 ripsaw I am thinking of another track I have notice 3 the sno-x 1 3/4, the back country 1 3/4, and the cross over 1 1/2
I ride on trail most of the time, and I like to get out of the trail but the sled dig itself in in a mater of second, with mountain skis it was a little better but not very much.
I want good traction the possibility to get out of the trail and have fun instead of exercising myself with a shovel
I have some upgrade on my engine: exeaust, porting, nytrocharger, pc-v with autotune, I want to have the good setup (and a good clutch kit scmidth or ulmer after selecting the track)
please give your advice and experience

Based on your description above the BC 1.75 is probably what you are looking for. I just changed the track out on mine and went with the 1.352 cobra because although I'd love to get off trail, I rarely do so I opted for something that I'm hoping will give better loose snow performance but still be excellent on trail. Having said that I've heard good things about the BC performance on the trail...
BTW, I ordered mine from tracks usa and got it sent to a border service (UPS in Plattsburgh) and saved a bundle over buying in Canada....

Theres probably 3 new take off 144 Cobras on KIJIJI out here. Let me know what you think when you get a chance. A track change is certainly on my things to do list.Based on your description above the BC 1.75 is probably what you are looking for. I'm riding a 144" XTX
I have tried the Ripsaw 1" ( terrible track) The 1.75" back country ( Awesome traction but the sled under-steered terribly on trail due to the awesome traction from this track) Finally settled on the 1.5" cross over, ( still great traction on and off trail and better steering)

Tracks Canada won't sell the 1.5" Crossover any longer. He says they're a POS and have had too many complaints.I'm riding a 144" XTX

Really??? I've run one on an Attak, then moved it to my Apex XTX and finally replaced it with WELL over 10,000 miles on it. I've run it at over 100 mph for MILES! On the Apex it GPS'd at 117 mph. I put another 1 on my Apex and have recommended it to a bunch of people. Sounds more like he just didn't sell enough to keep them in stock lol! By the way, the picture below is in 5' of UP powder. That's me on my Attak with the Crossover in it!Tracks Canada won't sell the 1.5" Crossover any longer. He says they're a POS and have had too many complaints.

I have seen a lot of those cobra tracks on Cats and after 1000 miles the lugs fold over very easy and the guys just spin like crazy. I could fold the lugs with my pinky finger. I would get a 1.5 minimum and 1.75 would be better. Only back country track I have seen fail was because the PO rode a lot on icy trails and over heated the track and caused it to delaminate on the new owner. Decent snow conditions and it will be a good track on or off trail.
