Need help installing heated grips on 84 Bravo.

Hello, Can anyone help me. I bought an 84 Bravo for my 11 year old son, He loves it but both times we have been out his hands get really cold. I bought a set of heated grips for him. Need help installing them. I see that there is two leads under the hood when you follow the wires. One is blue and one is green. Can I use these to supply power to the heated grips. I looked on the 2 stroke side could not find any help. Thank you

Before you open the package on the grips, go to your Yamaha dealer and find out how much power the lighting coils put out on the Bravo. I put hotgrips on my 440 Exciter BITD. and I had to ride it full throttle almost constantly, to feel any heat through the grips. Might help if you disconnect the Headlight? Good luck.

make sure you hook it up to the accessories wire and you will be find as a dealer to look at wire chart for you
