I have a '03 rx-1 and switching out tracks. I took the rotor off and the key in the shaft wont budge. I used de-greaser and still nothing.
Besides heat, what does everyone suggest.
Thanks.

If you can't pull it out with visegrips, try TWO HAMMERS... work like this;
Wedge the claw of one hammer over the key, then hit it on securely with the second hammer. Then pry it off... this is, of course, a last resort, as the key may not be reusable after this.

The reason for this is your shaft has moved towards the clutch. You need the new bearing and collar. Mine did the same thing last year, I ground mine out and bought a new one with the bearing and parts. I should say 04 locking collar and bearing.
Okay, I got it.
What I ended up doing is using a socket and tapped on the collar.
Then I started hammering hard on the face of the key until it jumped out of the shaft.
I will need to file the key a little, but that isnt anything big. I think what I will do is take a little of the length so it isnt so tight.
Thanks guys.

I had the same problem what I did was drill a small hole in it . To be honest I dont think mine was jammed in there I think it was the suction keeping it in. I couldnt get a hammer or a punch or chisels or vise grips to budge it once i drilled a small hole in it it honestly fell right out.
It seamed that way also for me. I am going to drill a hole or grind a small bit of the end so it doesnt fit in so tight.
weird problem..

By doing this dont you risk causing a vibration from imbalance. I am just asking here is all I would hate to see you have a vibration later on when it is time to ride.

When its that close to the center of the shaft, the effect on balance is negligible (it is actually out of balance already, by the mass of the key that protrudes from the shaft). Its when the outer edge of a clutch is out of balance that you feel it, because it moves FAR.

Yes for sure centrifugal force is greater the farther from the axis but I thought when spinning 10000 rpm any imbalance would be too much.

The jackshaft does not spin anywhere near 10,000 rpm. The crankshaft speed is reduced through a set of gears on the motor then the torque converter pulleys reduce it further except at full shift out.
It is actually causing it to be out of balance, because it protrudes from the shaft. They are both harden steel and weight the same.
this would be so minimal. What im talking about doing is removing .001 off the end of the key.
