Hey I'm having trouble removing the engine on my rx 1 , I cant get the bolt which is bolt #1 on this diagram out so i can lift the engine out , I took the nut and washer off which is labeled #3 and #6 but I don't understand why it won't just slide out . It says there is a bolt which is #5 on the spec i don't understand how to get that one out and if its holding the long bolt #1 in I have used deruster and tried to heat it and hit it with a hammer but its not moving at all. Can anyone help me please ?

try heating just the head of the bolt and pushing a candle/wax onto the bolt where it goes through as well as the head. works to get the lube in where needed.

Here are some pictures to help
Put the nut back on and give it a wack with big hammer. The other end is like a carriage bolt and I am sure its stuck in the square hole.
Agree with MrSled. Run the nut on several threads.Use a long extension bar with the socket. Hit the end of the extension with BFhammer so you don't damage the nut and threads.
