I brought mine to a sign shop and they wrapped it in vinyl for me. looks awesome!!
cost 30 bucks total including labor and they did it while i waited.

Make sure to use a plastic parts cleaner before you paint. This will take off all the grease and or wax that is on the windshield. I know that this has made night and day difference in the past for the plastic pieces I have painted. Any automotive paint store will have it. Its fairly cheap and comes in large bottles. It's a lot like a alchahol wipe.
