I can get a a good deal on a '05 Venom, anybody have one of these for their significant other? Any major issues with these sleds? THe major problem is that she is coming from a plush riding Polaris Indy XLT Special, and her major criteria for a new sled is that it has to be that comfortable (in regards to suspension)

Thanks in advance

They are a perfect sled for either a woman or an older child who does not need a ton of power. Compaired to a XLT Special, no need to worry. She will forget all about that sled after riding a Venom.

My wife has a 05 venom and rode 600 miles last seasonn and never once complained, even if rough trails. I said something about selling it and getting a 4 stroke and she just about killed me. I thought she would want to get away from the 2 smoke crap and smell but I was wrong. I found that when you first start this sled cold to not to even think about touching the throttle until it has ran for at least 5 minutes... other wise the plugs will foul. Also it burns a #*$&@ load of oil. Other than that great sled. Talk her into a four stroke so you wont have to tinker so much with it + better gas mileage. Just my 2 cents

Get your oil pump adjusted. Its running to rich based on the fouling and oil comsumption.
