Need opinions on Buying newer 2011 Apex

As someone with an 06 I would love the taller seat that the newer apex has. That being said my WRP seat should arrive tomorrow!!!

So I ended up doing the deal with the guy. The 2011 was in very good shape. Its studded. The guy actually gave me a receipt and the sled was gone through by the yamaha dealer over the summer (with 0 miles since the service) with a fresh oil change and filter, chain case fluid, and new plugs. I had a new set of tuner skis sitting on my shelf in the garage so I threw them on the sled. I keep my saddle bags and mirrors from my 06 and threw them on the 2011. The guy did snap the windshield in half on the 2011 as he was taking it off the trailer. (The clamshell came down and almost took his head off.) He took 200 off so I ended up giving him my sled and 2800 cash. It actually worked out good because the windshield on the sled was a short one and a wanted a tall warm one. I went ahead and ordered the the mega touring windshield for 134 with the extra 200 bucks.

Congrats on your purchase. Please post your impressions of the 11 compared to your 06 after you have ridden the 11 a few times, pretty sure you are going to be a happy camper!
