Hey everyone
I just got a new 2011 apex and I was wondering what is the best easiest mods I can to to it. I upgraded from a 2006 vector. I rode my dads apex last year and I didn't really like the steering on it. What's the best thing I can do to make it a better ride? I don't have the high dollar shocks on it . I'm only 170lb plus my bag that will be on back. I also need some new bags so what is my best options?
Thanks

It will make a difference. I run Curve Skis with there leading edge technology and my sled rides on rails. I also run a Power Commander from Ulmer and his clutch kit.

Snowtrackers, limiter strap up one or two holes, correct front shocks and setting the transfer correctly.

The Simmons skis are a lot better -- best all around trail ski made and excellent flotation off trail when you are moving. Or C&A XTX skis if you ride like a complete maniac on the trail. They are wider and also float well.
Or keep your stock skis and do the following: First, shim the bottom rear of the rubbers up 1/4 inch. Second, adjust your toe out on each side a quarter of an inch. Be sure each side gets adjusted the exact amount.
