Need some suggestions for a track for my boosted 121" N

Best track is hands down the predator(now called carve) the lugs are spaced in a 6 pitch config for AWESOME off trail performance and you can run lots of studs for ice traction, its a harder durometer then most so no pull outs and I didn't lose any top speed. With the 6 pitch design its almost equivalent to the next step longer ie the 121 feels like a 136 in powder, 136 feels like a 144, etc. I love the track. Its getting swapped from my nitrous RX1 to my Sc apex GT-S.

I've not heard anything about the Predator, any deals on it now? I've had really good luck with my Cobra on my XP, the thing throws monster waffles out the back just cruising down the trail.

In your first post you mention that you are into off trail playing. If this is the case - and if your sled is on a boost - please do not waste your time on anything but a 1.5"+ paddle track...

I do need studs since here in Michigan our trails can get some pretty icey corners. Can you really stud a sled like this with a 1.5" paddle?

X2. Thats what I like the best on my Turbo is the 1.25 6 pitch predator. I have used different tracks on mine over the years and the 6 pitch gave me the overall best all round performance. And Ive got 15000 miles on mine

You can stud a 1.5" paddle track, but in the FX Nytro this sounds like a very risky project that I would not recommend...
Maximum lug height in the FX Nytro, assuming standard drivers and all stud protectors removed, is 2". Anything higher will rub the front heat exchanger. The studs protruding from the 1.5" paddle track will not be far away from this...

If you are not going to stud the track I would recommend the 1.5" Intense or the 1.75" Back Country. Since you are into studs it is probably better to look at the already mentioned Ripsaw, Cobra or Predator options. But please be aware that during off trail excursions you are going to be nowhere near the paddle tracks...

Id do the 1.25 pred..with light studs near the rails......if you decide to go to a 1.5 track I would not stud it...period..

I'd let your decision between these 2 tracks depend on how much "side bite" you are used to/looking for. The Cobra is not a lot different that the Ripsaw in that regard, and I understand the Predator is quite a bit looser. FWIW
