Need some suggestions for hand warmers 05 rx-1

Need little help, installed the bad version warmer wise handlebars from apex on my Rx-1. Anyone made these style (removable hooks) work better with some mods. Thanks for any help!

Rocks setup is a good option, but not everyone can shell out the money for it. I rode my warrior wired this way for 1600 miles and it worked just fine.
