Hello boys ... lot of time is gone and lot of things happened in this strange Italy after my last post.
My rebuild project needed to be suspended ... in all words :-D

Now I'm hoping the storm is gone and I can try to come back on the snow.

Pending over my wife's car there is the prototype of my one-piece carbon fibre chassy ... it's very strong, rigid and super light and I'm sure it's the way to go (but not with this stupid design).

Now I've to decide if go on with this project building a new chassy and put money on a new engine and new suspension or buy a new sled leaving it stock.

I really don't know ... at this time I asked to Laneo a quote for a used running engine and the main part of a mtx tunnel ... than I'll decide.

Ciao!

It's funny that you posted...I just thought of your sled the other day and wondered if you were ever going to show up again after the sled ended up in the mishap. I hope you forge ahead with your carbon fibre project! Your posts were truly a great display of talent.

Hey Wolf

Good to see you are still around. unfortuenately there was a guy over on snowest that was parting out he T nytro. most of the parts are gone now but everything was up for sale including the motor. I have seen a few motors up for sale but they sure dont stay around very long. I wil be interested in see the direction you end up going. your first sled was sure a nice ride I am sure the next one will be just as nice.good luck and welcome back

Hallo bholmlate!

If I'll be able to find a good engine at a good price I'll take the decision in 1 seconds.

I still have supercharger and its stuff, all electrical and electronics, pulleys, shafts, brake, track ...

just need a running main engine block (up/low cranckcase, cranckshaft, pistons, rods, full head, cam chain etc.)
if you have some contact, I'm interested.

Also need the main part of an mtx tunnel with its own drop brackets and a set of stock a-arms w/spindles and ball joints

Im looking also here in Italy for used parts but not lucky till now (just many used sled at 8K euros)

I love the idea to start a new project and built something really new.

I'd like to put togheter a stock chassy assembly to take some measurements and then create a carbonfibre monocoque chassis.

Good to hear from you! Have always been wondering what happened to you. I'm building something right now that I'd love to ship to Europe and cruise around in.
