Put some feellers out for that mountain cooler. If anybody has a part number would help. Could check locally Monday maybe. Our local dealer is a over-extended one horse show and i'm sure he would have no clue about that mountain cooler.
Was checking out the Bergstrum triple carbides....great design theroy......SPENDY !!
Thanks for info guys !!

I just check Port Yamaha and it seems the price has gone way up since last year. They have it listed for $332

Breakin engine as Yamaha recomends, put recomended dosages of ringfree through the motor like yamaha recomends, and lay on the miles. Other than that you may have to change bearings in the skid every 6000 miles or so.

Re: rear heat exchanger
I found the paperwork for the kit I bought last year. Here is the part number for the kit 8EP-RHECR-KT-00.
Here is the part number for just the exchanger as listed on the instuction page, must be no rivets and no instructions, 8FW-1241A-09

Sodes has an RX-1 and the cooler for it is smaller than the optional Warrior (Mountain) cooler. There is no way you could fit the mountain cooler on a RX-1 unless you added a tunnel extension.
One other note, if you plan on studding your Warrior the cooler may end up being more trouble than it's worth. If you stud you will need to fabricate protectors for the cooler. The protectors will need to be at least 1" tall. Also if think about it the protectors will reduce your suspension travel as well.
That is one benefit to using the RX-1 cooler. It is in a position that studs will not hit. While it won't offer the cooling of the larger unit it must improve the cooler slightly over just the standard crossover tube.
