umm, aren't all the suspension problems with GT's, not RTX's.

Is a bigboy spring really neccesary on an RTX?

No, I bottomed out all the time on the RTX (230 with gear) I also tried moving the clips and all that before getting the spring, Once the spring was in no more bottoming!! I have heard a few complanits from both gt's & rtx owners, either way it works for me and at $80 ( i got a deal) i couldn't go wrong

As far as the oil change goes, yes it's a pain and takes some time. I have done it twice on mine, once at 41 miles and again at 670 miles. There are alot of pro's and con's but I used regular old Castrol GTX 5W-30 and a supertech filter from wal-mart $13.00 for the whole oil change. After 1500 miles I will go to synthetic. Now this is just me others will disagree. Anyway, what ever you decide here is a link to a thread with detailed instructions and pics on changing oil and filter. Good luck it takes about an hour. Oh make sure you have a huge 10" or better channel locks to get the filter off and always inspect the block to make sure the o'ring came with the filter.

While you have it apart use a black sharpy to mark the antifreeze over flow cold fill level somewhere where you can see it with the panels off. Also check to make sure you don't have 100% antifreeze. Just my .02

Ok I get the studding to avoid conflicts with the shock Eyelet.

As far as the spring, yes it is an issue on the RTX. Loaded up I am about 250lbs and my dealer recomended the spring swap.

Now we need SNOW! (been saying that all year)
