I have used the nose bag in the last 4 Vectors I owned & never had a problem with the power steering. I am assuming the Apex looks the same way up front as the Vectors.
Yup the nose bag works fine in the EPS Apex units. I pulled my nose bag from my 07 and dropped it into my 12 with ease. You have to be careful when pulling it out, as there are sharp components that will rip it.
I keep a tow rope, jumper cables and relays in there. All the things that I don't use often, but want to have in a pinch.

I wrapped all the sharp points with electrical tape & put some small rubber covers over the 2 screws that hold down the power steering control unit. I bought the rubber covers at Ace Hardware. They come in different sizes & colors.
