I wouldnt call that a steal on the new one, but gave you good trade in on that used sled. I dont see how he could sell it for much more than 5-5500 himself, but guess thats his problem now.

Considering the first post pricing of 8900.00 & 300.00 shipping= 9200.00
now. I bought my in feb of last year & paid 9500.00 which is only 300.00
dollars more & got 5600.00 trade in on my 06 Vector GT. Nobody that I
know of would even come close to that trade in price. Look how much money I saved in taxes alone. Try to trade in 06 Vector GT now with 9,000 miles on it. You will be lucky to get 4,000 for it.

Thats what I am saying you stole the trade, but then again they didnt do you favors on the new one, so maybe it worked out for them. Me personally I would never buy a sled with that many miles and know a lot of others wouldnt either. They might be lucky to get 5 for it, unless they switch the gauge or something.

You must not be a 4 Stroke guy. 9,000 miles on a 4 Stroke that's been taken care of correctly is not a lot of miles. Maybe on a 2 Stroke that might be a lot of miles though.

So true, 9k on a 4 stroke is nothing, everything around might go. Many buyers including myself would probably stay away from a 9k mile sled at 5-6k price tag

FX is a pretty good dealer whether it be sleds or cars

I got $4700 for my 2006 Apex RTX with 11K on it. It had some other issues under the surface (I crushed the radiator and intake pipe against a tree last year - but did not affect cooling). I also got $500 Trade My Sled and another $500 from Yamaha due to issues I had with this Apex.

I think I could've got more for it. I am not sure what someone will pay for this sled. I see they are asking $5500 but I highly doubt they will get a buyer near that price.

I traded my RX-1 to them many years ago and got $5500 for it. They ended up selling it for $3800 a year and a half later.

Not a bash, but why would anyone sell a sled for invoice ????
Don,t you have to have some kind of profit to keep the doors open ??? Maybe you could get us a list of the cost prices of sleds from them. I would love to know what the mark-up is . Are their sled prices posted on a website somewhere ???

I would be curious to know what true wholesale price is and what mark up is, but bet you. No one ever tells you. To be honest with you its like any other dealer if you give somebody a good price they are more than likely to come back and get service and buy equipment off of you which will make you more money than any new sled will set you
