I bought a new left over 06 apex gt this last saturday !! Went on my 1st day ride today -put on a 110miles -when I got home I noticed the paint on the floor boards are starting to rub off !! I only have 135 miles on the sled and the paint is coming off !! not happy !! I have already done the handle bar (warmers ) update !! Anything else should I be doing or looking for !! So far I like the sled but would like to keep ahead it if there is any problems I should be looking for ! Any and all help would be appreciated !! :ORC

Anyone !! Do I need to keep an eye on anything else ??? I have heard rumblings about wheels and tunnel problems ?? any truth to this !!

The tunnel problems are very isolated and caused normally from landing on the rear of the sled at extreme angles.
Wheels were replaced by Yamaha, you should check to see if it was done to yours. If not, the rubber WILL delaminate.
Lastly, the paint on the tunnel does wear quick. Any sand, dirt or material on the bottom of your boot will wear through that paint rapidly with any friction whatsoever. Make sure boots are nice and clean...BBY
